This Florida Keys Beach is dedicated to local environmentalist Anne Eaton. Anne’s Beach features a shallow swimming area, picnic tables, boardwalk and bathroom facilities. It is located on the Atlantic Ocean side of the highway.
As typical for Florida Keys beaches, there is almost no wave action, due to the wide expanse of shallow water. Visitors to this area can enjoy the clear and warm waters year round.
Although this beach will be difficult to find on an internet map search, it is easy to find if you watch the mile markers while traveling this scenic route. Just plan on stopping at mm 74.4. The area is pretty narrow and natural in character with small signs announcing the beach, so plan ahead.
