Located just north of Palm Beach, this state park is located on Singer Island.  Due to the close proximity of the Gulf Stream (approximately three miles), the water quality remains clear and warm.  This adds to the beauty of the area and makes this park a prime destination for those visiting the Florida Gold Coast.

The park was donated by John D. MacArthur who wished to provide for the conservation of this Florida treasure for future generations.  Dedicated to its namesake, John D. MacArthur park has been called an “island in time” with focus on preserving the lush and diverse subtropical coastal habitats that once covered southeast Florida.

Park visitors can participate in a variety of recreational activities, including kayaking, bird-watching, fishing, and snorkeling in this solitary state park in Palm Beach County.  Below are links to the park and other resources for your trip to this park.
